The hair accessories are primarily called Dabkas ( ear covers ) and Latkans ( hair add ons)

The CHOTLO (latkans) can be used in hair as is or even as tassels to skirts , anarkalis , bags and just anything you wish. They are made by tightly braiding fabric , complete with beads, kaudis and a lot of namda ( felt wool) tassels . Namda is so rare in Kutch now that it's hardly practiced .
