Kondha Anklet

Beautiful solid metal anklets worn by Kondha women from Eastern Ghats . These days these anklets are not seen as their craftsmanship takes immense amount of time. These are vintage pieces collected over time, cleaned, finished and for us to appreciate the native heritage . 

Material : mized metal (alimunium / brass) 

About the Piece

• Its purely hand chiselled we have cleaned but not polished it at all to keep it raw finish intact.
• The ornament belongs to one of the listed Particularly Vulnerable Tribes Groups 
• ( Bonda/ Kondha) and are rarely made now ( only for marriages etc)
• This is vintage piece and aged about 20- 30 years old and has very high museum value.
