Malli Phulla

An exquisite completely handmade tarkasi(filigree) earings inspired by "Malli Phula" whose heady fragrance fills the balmy summer evenings. These nature-inspired designs are some of the oldest traditional pieces of filigree pieces that have been documented and are not available as before due to demand for more modern designs. We convinced our karigars in Cuttack to make a few sets for us on special request and this is the result of the same effort.

Made of 92.5 sterling silver and hand pulled strings are then delicately turned using techniques handed down through generations of karigars who have been the identity of Cuttack which is also known as the "Silver City" otherwise.
